Flex Clinics

VON Canada Middlesex-Elgin Home Care Program in partnership with the VON Community Supports Program and South West Community Care Access Center (SW CCAC) launched a Community Nursing Clinic at 190 Cherryhill Circle, August 1st 2008. There are now three clinic locations available for your convenience (see map below).

The clinic offers clients an alternative to where they receive their nursing home care services. Home Care typically has meant that the VON nurse comes to your home. This exciting new clinic offers you choice.

The clinic operates daily, by appointment through referral from the SW CCAC. If you are already receiving VON nursing services in the home (through discussion with your nurse) you can have your care transferred to the clinic site.

The clinic is also available for private pay services through physician referral.

What services are available?

• Wound management
• Intravenous therapy
• Counselling and medical management
• Medical checks
• Injection therapy
• Health teaching
• PICC line/Port-a-cath care
• Palative care (ie. pain management)
• Discontinuation of chemotherapy
• General nursing care
